Nowadays, digital proofing systems have become affordable for many small and medium size printers and this have broadened the printing industry.  With digital prepress printing proofing, there is no need to scrap the existing film and rerun a new film before burning a new proof. Naturally, you can be benefited higher quality control as digital proofs are produced from the same set of file that is used to make the printing plate. Also, it is much easy to print out temporary copies and it allows visual proofing to eliminate any errors prior to the stage of making negatives and final prints.

Digital Prepress Printing Equipments

High resolution scanning
Almost any sized media can be scanned, from 35mm transparencies to larger flat copy originals up to a max size of 16’ x 20’. Images are scanned in using a Linotype Hell scanner capable of resolution up to 6100dpi.







Imagesetters
We have 4 Agfa machines, film output ranging up to imposed 16up using our Agfa Avantra 44 with 175lpi screen ruling. Film can be supplied either as single pages, double page spreads, or imposed as required for any specific layout.

Digital Prepress Printing Proofing

we have state-of-the-art Xerox DocuColour 5252 printing press Fuji Xerox Docucolour for handles extra-heavy stocks up to full-bleed 11” x 17” jobs. 

For packaging proofing requirement, Agfajet Sherpa 54 which has been praise for Colour Accuracy, Repeatability and Format Versatility, able to output up to 54inch size.

Digital Soft Proof
Epson 9600 inkjet 7 colour printer, printing up to 36 inch size. It targets to all actual size soft proof for imposition job, with the 7 colour printing colour is as close as actual print out.







Machine Proofing

This “near Printing” proof is produce using 124GL Dainippon Screen. We can supply progressive proof on different paper stocks.

Quality Image Touching & Editing

Image touching, typesetting/page make-up, or projects where images are fully utilized through a full OPI system are all available. For trapping, our Apogee PDF RIP features In-RIP Trapping for high quality results.

Digital archiving

Digital age provides an easy & efficient document distribution media for all your projects.  We can archive all your digital files in any format for both Mac and PC computers.  These permanent files in CD/DVD can be archived in a fast and cost effective manner.
